Why they're here
“I’m here to contribute as a judge and help teams build useful, secure solutions for nonprofits. I’m particularly interested in how projects protect sensitive information and manage access while remaining easy to use. I want to provide fair evaluations and constructive feedback that helps teams improve their solutions beyond the hackathon. OHack’s focus on real nonprofit needs also gives me an opportunity to learn from other professionals and contribute to meaningful community projects.”
About
My professional interests center on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), access management, and building technology that people can trust. I’m particularly interested in how organizations give the right people appropriate access, protect sensitive information, and make security practical for everyday users. I’m joining the OHack community to contribute as a judge and support teams developing solutions for nonprofits. What draws me to this work is the opportunity to evaluate technology against real community needs: whether a solution addresses the organization’s problem, is easy to use, and can be maintained with the resources available. My approach to judging would emphasize fair evaluation, thoughtful questions, and constructive feedback. Alongside functionality and technical execution, I would consider data protection, access controls, usability, and the team’s understanding of its nonprofit partner’s needs. I value solutions that make sensible trade-offs and clearly explain their limitations and next steps. I also see OHack as an opportunity to learn from developers, nonprofit leaders, and fellow judges. I hope to contribute a security-conscious perspective while helping teams strengthen their ideas and move toward useful, sustainable outcomes.
