Summer 2026 Software Engineering Volunteer Internship
We'll be working to complete two projects from the WICS 2026 Spring hackathon, we want to focus our effort primarily on WIAL using the solution from the WiCS Spring 2026 hackathon
Focus areas
We want to productionalize these two projects
- 1/ NaNPossible’s project for WIAL
- 2/ StumbleGuys project for Case Management (a general solution that benefits several nonprofits)
Steps
- 1/ Apply as a hacker or mentor
- 2/ We’ll review your application - give us a few days
- 3/ We’ll notify you via email and Slack
What you will do
- Get our World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL) solution in production and used by the nonprofit, review Issue Tickets we’ve created together with our Volunteer PM and working with the nonprofit, reviewing code - everything you’d do in a normal software engineering role
- All of your code is open-source and can be used as part of your portfolio as you apply to companies
- You’ll be sent hearts depending on your level of contribution
